The watch for queens from the king of diamonds

Harry Winston presents the Harry Winston Emerald, the watch collection inspired by the heritage of the American “king of diamonds.” The dial of vibrant color, diamonds, and signature shape of the case make it immediately possible to attribute this watch to Harry Winston’s heritage.
Harry Winston opened his first jewelry store in New York in 1932. From the very beginning, one of his activities was the purchase of large gemstones, which he cut in order to highlight their natural beauty to the fullest extent. Harry Winston considered the emerald cut to be the most elegant and spectacular, and such cut gradually became one of the signatures of his masterpieces.

It was the emerald cut that inspired the designers of the Harry Winston Emerald model who made a white and rose gold case in an octagon shape. The uncommon form of the case is accentuated by an octagonal overlay featuring Harry Winston’s logo placed on the dial just at the 12 o'clock position.
Harry Winston’s universe is often associated with blue color, and it’s not for nothing. Harry Winston, the owner of a unique collection of historical gems and jewelry which is the number two for its significance after the royal collection of the Windsors, was able to appreciate their quality, rarity, and beauty. For this reason, he could not help but buy a legendary diamond called “Hope,” formerly owned by Evelyn Walsh Macklin. Harry Winston presented a unique diamond “Hope” weighing 45.52 carats, the history of which is no less rich and impressive than its dark blue color, to the Smithsonian Institution in 1958. The ladylike octagonal shape of the Harry Winston Emerald case resembles the most famous blue diamond in the world.
The rich blue color of the dial and strap embodies the theme tie of the watch with “Hope” diamond in particular, and with the jewelry art by Harry Winston as a whole. The brilliance of the blue dial resonates with the radiance of three classic-cut diamonds placed in the 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions. The bezel, the crown, the lugs, and the classic clasp are decorated with 67 classic-cut diamonds with a total weight of 0.53 carat.
The Harry Winston Emerald watch is made in a white gold version with a blue lacquered dial or in a pink gold version with a snow-white radial satin finish on the dial. This year, on the eve of the Baselworld Jewelry and Watch Exhibition, the great brand presents a novelty, the Harry Winston Emerald watch with a pink strap and a white gold dial.
