“Diamonds are my roots and my experience. When I decided to create my own jewelry brand, I wanted diamonds to be commonplace. I wanted something impressive, commonplace, and easy to use,” Valerie Messika, CEO and founder/creative director, said.
The modern Messika Jewelry Maison was founded in 2005 in Paris by Valerie Messika, the daughter of Andre Messika, who was one of the most successful diamond dealers in France.
Valerie Messika has not just created a modern jewelry manufacturer and built an international brand, but also changed the attitude to diamonds through these 13 years. Creating mobile and ergonomic jewelry highlighting the body of women, she invented an original language for diamonds. Her reputation and experience allow her to begin a fresh chapter for Messika.
At the end of 2017, the brand passed a very important milestone - the 10th anniversary of the Move collection. In honor of the 10th anniversary of Move, Valerie Messika initiated an exceptional cooperation with one of the most iconic figures: Gigi Hadid.
Currently Messika has 358 outlets in 60 countries of the world. In 2013, the House opened its first flagship store on Rue Saint-Honore, one of the most luxurious streets in Paris. By 2018, Messika plans to open 8 more stores. In Baku, the brand is presented in Elluxus Baku and Royal Collection boutiques.
